Fieldtrips

Fieldtrips are an exciting and educational activity for children this age. My goals in arranging fieldtrips are:
  • to go somewhere which will advance the learning we are doing in the classroom,
  • to go somewhere that the children may not have the opportunity to visit otherwise,
  • to go somewhere that the children will be interested in visiting.

Other Notes About Fieldtrips:

--The cost of fieldtrips for students, is included in the monthly tuition. However, the cost for parents or younger siblings to attend will be required of the parents.

--Transportation to and from the fieldtrip location is the responsibility of the child's parent. Arrangements made between parents to carpool or take turns is completely acceptable, but is the responsibility of the parents involved, not Miss Dawn.

--Also, unless otherwise noted, adult attendance is required during the fieldtrip (again arrangements made between parents is acceptable.)

--Younger siblings are welcome to attend (unless otherwise noted) but any costs for attendance will be the parent's responsibility. Also, parents will be responsible for the supervision of these siblings throughout the fieldtrip.
